CCC Holds Successful Break of Day Walk Event

On March 8, Crusaders for Colon Cancer held an event called The Break of Day Walk to Defeat Colon Cancer at Sylvester Turner Park in Houston. It was successful beyond our expectations in terms of the number of participants, vendor booths and sponsors. A very enjoyable morning was had by all. Best of all, many more people are now aware of our efforts, whether they be participants, their friends and family, or folks who were exposed to the publicity we did prior to the event. This was the first Break of Day Walk to Defeat Colon Cancer, and it certainly won’t be the last. We’re enormously grateful to everyone who participated in this event in any way- it couldn’t have happened without you.
